The British Museum
The British Museum is among the most famous museums in the world. It is a museum of human history and culture situated in London. Its collections, which number more than seven million objects, are amongst the largest and most comprehensive in the world and originate from all continents, illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginning to the present.
The British Museum was established in 1753, largely based on the collections of the physician and scientist Sir Hans Sloane. The museum first opened to the public on 15 January 1759 in Montagu House in Bloomsbury, on the site of the current museum building. Its expansion over the following two and a half centuries has resulted in the creation of several branch institutions, the first being the British Museum (Natural History) in South Kensington in 1887. Some objects in the collection, most notably the Elgin Marbles from the Parthenon, are the objects of intense controversy and calls for restitution to their countries of origin. Until 1997, when the British Library (previously centred on the Round Reading Room) moved to a new site, the British Museum was unique in that it housed both a national museum of antiquities and a national library in the same building. The museum is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and as with all other national museums in the United Kingdom it charges no admission fee. Since 2001 the director of the museum has been Neil MacGregor.

The British Museum
The Museum was uesd to be an encyclop?dia of nature and of art. But now it no longer houses collections of natural history, and the books and manuscripts it once held now form part of the independent British Library. The Museum nevertheless preserves its universality in its collections of artefacts representing the cultures of the world, ancient and modern. The original 1753 collection has grown to over thirteen million objects at the British Museum, 70 million at the Natural History Museum and 150 million at the British Library.
Upon entering the British Museum, you may have a feeling that you are in another world.

That’s all right,it’s our pleasure.
Good points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t comment to blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very flattering to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault really , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy just reading the posts.
Thanks so much for your attentio and the suggestions we will work better.GOOD LUCK!
Lots of Good information in your posting, I bookmarked your blog post so I can visit again in the near future, Cheers

Your website looks really good. Being a blog writer myself, I really appreciate the time you took in writing this article.
It is advantageous, then, to have a repair service manual for your car, whether it is a Bugatti Veyron or a Hillman Imp. Knowing what has gone wrong with the car, and whether you can run the repairs yourself, is helpful for so many reasons. A good service repair manual will make it easier to drive with confidence, knowing that you have all the information you need to make the repair job less stressful, and possibly less expensive. That was a different thought track. I admire your style that you put into your post . Please do continue with more like this.
I was just talking with my coworker about this last week at Outback steak house. Don’t know how in the world we got on the subject actually , they brought it up. I do remember having a wonderful fruit salad with sunflower seeds on it. I digress…
That’s our pretty.
So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
I couldn’t resist commenting.
Nice!

I introduced myself to cigarettes when I was really young. It was the dumbest wrong move I’ve made. Now 20 years later I have found kicking the habit is very hard. I used all of the quit smoking gadgets but not one helped. Then I discovered the e cig. The e-cigarette uses a nicotine fluid that has simply nicotine. No smelly smoke at all. They have completely improved my life. No more inhaling smelly smoke feels great!

Once I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new feedback are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the identical comment. Is there any approach you’ll be able to remove me from that service? Thanks!
