Potala Palace
Situated in Marpo Rill Hill in Lhasa,Tibet in southwest China,the Potala Palace is a famous castle-like architectural complex and an ancient architectural complex of the Tibet poeple.
In the Sanskrit language,Potala means the “sacred land of Buddhism,”In the seventh century, the emperor of the Tang Dynasty gave Princess Wencheng to Songzang Gambo, unifier of Tibet, in marriage. To welcome his bride,Songzang Gambo had a palace built here,which was later destoryed in the war.In the mid 17th century when the Fifth Dalai was in power,he had the White Palace built and then had the Red Palace expanded to the present scale.
With a total area of 130,000 square meters, the Potala Palace was the Winter Palace of Dalai Lamas of the past ages,and the ruling center of the intergration of religion and politics in old Tibet.The 13 – story main building is a stone – and – wood structer,115.89 meters high and 400 meters long from east to west.The Potala includes the palaces,halls for worshipping Buddha,chantinghalls, dormitories, stupas and countyyards.All the architectural structures in the Potala were built on the cliffs, with row upon row of buildinga,and all the roofs of the five palacces are covered with gold-gilded tiles.Here are eight stupas containing the salt-dried and embalmed remains of most Dalai Lamas,of which the stupas of the Fifth and 13th Dalai Lamas are the highest,14 meters high.These stupas ,all the similar in shape but differing in size, are covered with gold leaf and stupa with jade and precious stones.

According to the recordes, the construction of the stupa of gold and nearly 10,000 precious stones. In addition,the Potala also contains colorful murals that covers an area of over 2,500 square meters,nearly 1,000 Buddhist pagodas, 10,000 status and Tangkas, Pattra leaves, Kangyur and other rare treasures, in addition to the imperial edicts and gold seals given to Dalaii Lamas by the emperors, a superb collection of exquisite and beautiful porcelain wares,jade and arts and crafts, which are all priceless.

Hey everyone. I don`t know where else to ask. I bought a nintendo ds lite last 2 months I think but I just couldn`t get it to start. I tried to change the battery but I know the battery is not the problem since the light was on. Probably there is disconnected wire in the cover hinge? I`m not sure if any of you guys has been experiencing the same problem and found a solution for it. Maybe there is someone expert i.e console technician who knows how to solve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated
WI-FI thingo gave me fake card message, but i dont know if it was talking about my sd or r4i, as i have already verified my sd as genuine through kingston, so i suppose it means my R4i-GOLD is a dud, has anyone else had this and is it reliable, or is it because i tried to use the wi-fi thingo with an R4i and not the other card it is for.
I bought one of these since the original didn’t work on the DSi and it wasn’t really what I expected. I do love the option to backup saves and restore them later, however, the cheats that I used on my original Action Replay don’t work on this one…So unless I can find a fix then I’ll have to go back to the original.
