For so many comfortable trips,you may have a little tired about it. Maybe,you want a another kind of travelling, may called adventure. But as far as I’m concerned,Trekking,in some ways is also one kind of  adventure.It needs a strong body and a strong spirit and strong perseverance. Now,I will tell you something we konw about Trekking.If you are a person very fond of sedentary lifestyles and aims to always have a reason to be in motion, will surely find the correct choice for trekking the most anxiety expect the arrival of their rest days.Before jumping out of control in practice, there are some substantive points to be aware when trekking (or hiking, in most basic terms). Here they are:

First, it must differentiate the terms “walking” of trekking though his spirit may be quite similar. On the one hand, trekking consists of short walks, with up to 6 hours, which are conducted by well-marked trails and demarcated. There is no type of technical difficulty. Its clear Caribbean beaches also allow water sports, while its rugged mountainous interior are home to a nearly impenetrable vegetation and a world to discover. This small island has the nation’s capital, Kingston, and the cities of Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios main holiday havens.

But before landing in the country that gave birth to Bob Marley, the traveler must take into account a number of tips to optimize your stay and avoid problems. Multnomah Falls

You may not be familiar with Multnomah Falls, but it is absolutely one of the most amazing placesin the world. A waterfall as magnificent and memorable as any in the country is located just a 30- minute drive outside of Portland. Visiting Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water, lets you experience the power and beauty of nature up close and with ease. From the parking area off of I-84,a 5-minute walk is all that separates you from the exhilarating spray at the base of the falls.

Although you can see the top portion of the falls from the highway, to view both tiers you have to walk to the viewing area located in ayour head up in the narrow rocky confines of the steep cliffs, you get a mind-boggling perspective on the sheer magnitude of the falls.

For an even closer view, walk another several hundred feet up the paved trail to reach Benson Bridge, which spans the falls at the first tier’s misty base. Standing on the bridge you have a perfect view of the top tier’s full 542-foot height and a knee-wobbling vantage point over the second tier’s 69-foot drop! The bridge is named for Simon Benson, a prominent Portland businessman who owned the falls in the early part of the
1900s. Before his death, Benson gave Multnomah Falls to the City of Portland, which later transferred ownership to the USDA Forest Service.

To make the outing complete, visit the Multnomah Falls Lodge which was built in 1925 to serve throngs of tourists who came to view the spectacular sights of the Columbia Gorge. Today, the historic structure (made of every type of rock found in the gorge) houses a gift shop with plenty of postcards, a restaurant with Northwest Cuisine and unbeatable views of the falls, and a US Forest Service Information Center where you can find trail maps. During the summer months vendors offer ice cream, coffee, sodas and other quick snacks from booths and carts in front of the lodge.

Seasons
Unlike many of the West’s famous falls, Multnomah Falls does not dry up in the late summer. Rainwater, an underground spring and snow melt feed the falls through all four seasons and ensure a spectacular sight any day of the year.

Tips:
- Pets are allowed at Multnomah Falls, but must be controlled and on a leash at all times.
- Multnomah Falls does NOT require a Northwest Forest Pass.
- Spray and mist cause a cooler micro-climate within the falls viewing area so be sure to bring a sweater in summer or coat in winter for added warmth.

Beverly Hills and The Governator

One of our favourite bloggers decided to explore Rodeo Drive and see if it lived up to its glamorous reputation.

On the third day of my LA trip, Steph and I descended on Beverly Hills.  She had warned me in advance that Rodeo Drive was only a few blocks long, and sure enough, it all seemed less grandiose in person than what I’d conjured up in my mind over a lifetime of watching it depicted on TV and in the movies.

We parked the car and walked along the palm-lined streets, however there’s little to do if you’re not there to go shopping.  And in terms of shopping, the streets were lined with luxury brand boutiques.

One funny moment occurred when one of LA’s garish, red double-decker tourist bus came roaring down the street, interrupting the otherwise peaceful, low-key neighborhood.

We ate lunch at the Grill on the Alley, which is known as the entertainment industry’s restaurant of choice for power lunches.  The entrance literally faces into an alley, albeit a clean one as we are in Beverly Hills after all.

We got there early, however there were no stars to be seen.  In an attempt to make up for my early-in-the-trip indulgences, I ordered a $20 Caesar salad with chicken.  The portion size was obscene (ie. gigantic), and I only managed to finish half of it.

As we went to exit the restaurant, in walks Bill Rancic, the first winner of The Apprentice.  I recognized him immediately, but wasn’t starstruck enough to actually stop him from using the restroom.  Besides, as in New York City, you’re not suppose to care when you see a celebrity walking around.

To give ourselves another shot at spotting a major celebrity, we walked through Barney’s New York and made our way to the rooftop restaurant, Barney Greengrass.

Upon walking up to the host’s desk, I looked to my left and immediately noticed The Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, sitting at a corner table, facing out over the entire restaurant.  He had a dark tan, and a commanding presence.  We decided to wait for a table on the outdoor terrace, so Steph used the free time to introduce one of the Governor’s security guards to Foursquare.  Meanwhile, I continued to nonchalantly peer at him from across the room.

Expo 2010, officially Expo 2010 Shanghai China is being held on both banks of the Huangpu River in the city of Shanghai, China, from May 1 to October 31, 2010. It is a World Expo in the tradition of international fairs and expositions. The theme of the exposition is “Better City – Better Life” and signifies Shanghai’s new status in the 21st century as the “next great world city”.The expo Logo features the Chinese character 世 (‘world’, Chinese “shì”) modified to represent three people together with the 2010 date. It is the most expensive Expo in the history of the world’s fairs. The Shanghai World Expo is also the largest World’s Fair site ever at 5.28 square km.

More than 190 countries and more than 50 international organizations have registered to participate in the Shanghai World Expo, the largest ever. China expects to receive almost 100 foreign leaders and millions of people from across the world to come and visit the World Expo. Initial expectations of 70–100 million visitors are currently being scaled down to 50 – 70 million, which might still make Expo 2010 the most well-attended Expo in history . 

I think Architecture should incorporate the local culture, but it should not be totally stuck into it. Innovation is essential for creating memorable buildings. The World Expo is an event where countries showcase their aspirations and the theme this year is “Better City, Better Life”. Cities should be like babies who adapt and learn new things very fast wherever they’re born, so their population can solve the worst urban problems with imagination and creativity, inspired and enchanted by the mistery of nature and without prejudices.All right,that’s just a little mind of mine.But I think it’s not a good idea to pass a wonderful travel in your summer vacation.

Maldives

everyone must be familiar with Maldives. It is such a beautiful place that each year millions of tourists go to Maldives for their holiday.

The Maldives or Maldive Islands, officially Republic of Maldives, is an island country in the Indian Ocean formed by a double chain of twenty-six atolls stretching in a north-south direction off India’s Lakshadweep islands, between Minicoy Island and Chagos Archipelago. It stands in the Laccadive Sea, about seven hundred kilometres (435 mi) south-west of Sri Lanka.The Maldives is the smallest Asian country in both population and area. With an average ground level of 1.5 metres (4 ft 11 in) above sea level, it is the lowest country on the planet.It is also the country with the lowest highest point in the world, at 2.3 metres (7 ft 7 in).

The Indian Ocean has a great effect on the climate of the country by acting as a heat buffer,absorbing, storing, and slowly releasing the tropical heat. The temperature of Maldives ranges between 24 °C (75 °F) and 33 °C (91 °F) throughout the year. Although the humidity is relatively high, the constant cool sea breezes keep the air moving and the heat mitigated.

The Maldives was largely terra incognita for tourists until the early 1970s. Strewn across the equator in the Indian Ocean, the Maldives archipelago possesses an exceptionally unique geography as a small island country. Nature has fragmented the archipelago into 1,190 tiny islands that occupy a mere one per cent of its 90,000 km2 territory. Only 185 islands are home to its 300,000 population, while the other islands are used entirely for economic purposes of which tourism and agriculture are the most dominant. Tourism accounts for 28% of GDP and more than 60% of the Maldives’ foreign exchange receipts. Over 90% of government tax revenue comes from import duties and tourism-related taxes.[citation needed] The development of tourism has fostered the overall growth of the country’s economy. It has created direct and indirect employment and income generation opportunities in other related industries. The first tourist resorts were opened in 1972 with Bandos island resort and Kurumba Village.

Trust me. If Maldives is not among your plans of travelling, it would be a mistake.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the United States.

Yellowstone National Park, established by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872, is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, though it also extends into Montana and Idaho. Yellowstone was the first national park in the world, and is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features, especially Old Faithful Geyser, one of the most popular features in the park. It has many types of ecosystems, but the subalpine forest is dominant.

Yellowstone National Park spans an area of 3,468 square miles (8,980 km2), comprising lakes, canyons, rivers and mountain ranges. Yellowstone Lake is one of the largest high-altitude lakes in North America and is centered over the Yellowstone Caldera, the largest supervolcano on the continent. The caldera is considered an active volcano; it has erupted with tremendous force several times in the last two million years. Half of the world’s geothermal features are in Yellowstone, fueled by this ongoing volcanism. Lava flows and rocks from volcanic eruptions cover most of the land area of Yellowstone. The park is the centerpiece of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the largest remaining, nearly intact ecosystem in the Earth’s northern temperate zone.

Hundreds of species of mammals, birds, fish and reptiles have been documented, including several that are either endangered or threatened. The vast forests and grasslands also include unique species of plants. Grizzly Bears, wolves, and free-ranging herds of bison and elk live in the park. Forest fires occur in the park each year; in the large forest fires of 1988, nearly one third of the park burned. Yellowstone has numerous recreational opportunities, including hiking, camping, boating, fishing and sightseeing. Paved roads provide close access to the major geothermal areas as well as some of the lakes and waterfalls. During the winter, visitors often access the park by way of guided tours that use either snow coaches or snowmobile.

Yellowstone is one of the most popular national parks in the United States. The National Park Service maintains 9 visitor centers and museums and is responsible for maintenance of historical structures and many of the other 2,000 buildings. These structures include National Historical
Landmarks such as the Old Faithful Inn built in 1903–04 and the entire Fort Yellowstone – Mammoth Hot Springs Historic District. An historical and educational tour is available at Fort Yellowstone which details the history of the National Park Service and the development of the park. Campfire programs, guided walks and other interpretive presentations are available at numerous locations in the summer, and on a limited basis during other seasons.

Yellowstone National Park is one place you cannot miss when you travel to America.
