28. Question:How is the weather in Dallas? Details please?

Answer : Today, Feb 8, it’s miserable – rain, temp in the low 30′s, wind gusts of 30 mph. They are predicting freezing rain for tomorrow with wind chill of 17.

29. Question:Anyone got a good place for a holiday in the UK? Theres three of us going, we are all girls and 17 or 18. we are looking for somewhere with a nice beach, fairly safe, and with some sort of nightlife or activities to do in the day, anyone got anywhere good?

Answer : Yeah I totally agree with Newquay in Cornwall. From personal experience its great, mainly for surfers but there’s clubs and other stuff to do. Theres LOADS of nightlife because it’s quite a holiday destination, and i’m kinda guessing you’ll want to get in on the nightlife at your age. It has a nice beach and its safe. When I went in the town they were advertising a massive beach party and everything. For activities to do in the day i’m sure if you look around you’ll find something. They have alot of pretty decent shops in the town, i’d recommend surfing, they also got Newquay zoo, a waterworld, go-karts, horse riding etc. For more info go on http://www.visitnewquay.org/

30. Question:Moving from Michigan (US) to Toronto (Canada)? I am currently 17 and in high school… Once I turn 18 and graduate I plan on moving from south michigan to Toronto. I would like to know what I would need (passport, etc…) I’m planning on staying a year possibly and at the end of the year I’d be making a decision to become a citizen or return to america. Can I stay such a period without giving up my american citizenship up? Do I get a green card? If so who would I contact or how would I contact the Canadian government to become a citizen or get a green card? Sorry about typo’s

Answer : You cannot just move to Canada and become a citizen. You have to apply first, and this takes several years. Canada selects immigrants under a variety of categories – see the Citizenship and Immigration Canada site for details. As a US citizen, you are allowed to visit Canada for a period generally lasting no longer than six months. You will need a passport (technically, you do not need one to enter Canada from the US, but the US will require you to have one to return). Canada does not have “green cards”. If you plan to work temporarily in Canada you may need a work permit and/or a temporary resident visa (TRV). However, since you are just graduating from high school you are unlikely to have any qualifications or work experience that would make you eligible for a work permit..

  1. Why do we consider travel a basic desire nowadays? In 2008, only 30 percent of trips over 50 miles were done for business – the rest- for pure pleasure. Work is nerve-racking, the family needs to be fed and money is and will always be a problem. Meanwhile, there are hot deals on flights, romance is in the air in Paris no matter the season and life is still waiting for you at the corner

Oh, your thought is really advanced, amazing and worth learning. But I just have a vague idea. I hope you can give more suggestions on our topic.
