24. Question:Moving to Japan thinking about becoming a fittness instructor and…….? Ok so I was thinking of living in Japan for about 2 or 3 years with my boyfriend and well im a personal trainer and I would like to know where the best gyms are in Japan what cities, towns, communities. Where would there be the best gyms or aoeobic classes that would need personal trainers. More specifically Tokyo Japan?
Answer : In Tokyo the group exercise thing is more popular. The classes range from your step classes, spinning, and all around band workout classes. Ages in group exercises included all ages of bothe men and women. I noticed in the US group classes are mostly women and in the 35+ age range. Spinning being an exception. As far as working in a gym. There are two types of employees, the normal gym staff and the training staff. The gym staff are people who are paid hourly and salary. They run the gym and find new membership. The training staff are listed free lancers. They gym lists a certain number of personal traininers, but they are paid directly by he client. The gym takes a % cut from the trainer. My friend, she splits her time between 4 gyms and her clients. Some personal trainers are also group exercise instructors. The group exercise instructors are also free lancers. They are paid based on attendance of their class sessions. A gym employee counts the numbers at the start of each class.
What does this mean to you? You already know that personal trainers need to be the nice, motivator and say the things that the client wants/needs to hear. On top of that, in Japan, you need to present the right image and communicate effectively.

26. Question:Is it cheaper to travel to Iceland now that they are broke? I knew it was pretty expensive to travel there a while ago but I was wondering if it got cheaper since all of the major financial problems they’ve had.

27. Question:Can I bring chocolate into Australia?
Visiting Perth in March and my friend has asked me to bring some English chocolate over, and heard customs are really strict? Any help would be great!
Answer : If it is packaged in the manufacturer wrapping it should be fine. Better still in cellophane wrapping if you can find it. I assume you know where you are buying it, or your flight stops over in the UK?
